As I mentioned in class today, one of the key issues in the climate benefits of natural gas is the amount of leakage that occurs as NG is harvested and transported. Here is a link to an Economist debate on fracking - this house believes that the benefits derived from shale gas outweigh the drawbacks... This position was narrowly voted down by readers.
